Come visit this event to learn all about The Middle East and North Africa, the origin of many residents in Shoreline. It will include everything from Arabic Folk Tales to Photo Exhibits to traditional food and music. And for those interested in helping out, be sure to sign up to volunteer in the M.E.N.A. Cultural Heritage Room.
The Middle East and North Africa is the ancestral home to many Shoreline residents. Come to learn more about this fascinating region of the world, it’s many cultures, enjoy Arab hospitality and meet new neighbors. Hosted by the Sisters’ Group at the North Seattle Family Center. And it’s FREE!

VOLUNTEER: We need YOUTH (age 16) and ADULTS to volunteer in the M.E.N.A. Cultural Heritage Room for 15 hours total. Shifts are 2-3 hours and can be used towards high school public service hours. Duties include assisting with children’s activities and displaying Arab hospitality by greeting visitors and serving tea, coffee and sweets.
