Presented by Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, the 48th Annual Northwest Folklife Festival returns on Memorial Day Weekend (May 24 – 27, 2019).

YOUR COMMUNITIES. YOUR TRADITIONS. YOUR FOLKLIFE.
Each year, Northwest Folklife and Seattle Center partner to present the Northwest Folklife Festival, one of the largest, multicultural, access-for-all festivals in the nation! This is the place to learn, dance, play, try something new, and to discover the arts and cultures that thrive in our Pacific Northwest communities.

HIGHLIGHTS:
◦ 20+ stages with over 5,000 performers and showcases co-curated by over 125+ Community Coordinators
◦ 40 Food vendors representing flavors from all around the world
◦ 150 local craft & import vendors
◦ Discovery Zone: Family-friendly hands-on activities, performances, & workshops
◦ Full Schedule: Stay tuned for the launch of the full 2019 schedule on May 1!

CULTURAL FOCUS:
Youth Rising is a year-long program featuring peer mentorship, youth residencies, a series of youth-organized performances and events, and opportunities for creative collaborations, which will be highlighted at the 48th Annual Northwest Folklife Festival (May 24 – 27, 2019). Youth Rising is a platform for the voices of youth leaders, artists, musicians, and changemakers.
