The New Talent Playbook: Removing Barriers for Formerly Incarcerated Professionals

Dec 7, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

$35

Unloop is a nonprofit with the mission to enable people who have been in prison to succeed in careers in tech. Join them for a night of conversation around removing barriers for formerly incarcerated professionals in tech. The event will begin with a panel featuring formerly incarcerated software developers and the companies that hire them, followed by food and drink over a hackathon to create a playbook for companies approaching hiring people with convictions. Finally, there will be an opportunity to network with the inspirational tech and social justice leaders that make up the Unloop community! Whether you work in tech or just want to support individuals re-entering their communities after incarceration, this will be an important night of discussion and community building.
