The Daedalus Quartet, at Emerald City Music

When was the last time you heard classical music live? Emerald City Music is South Lake Union’s destination for vogue, eclectic, open-bar classical music shows. Top-flight musicians gather from every corner of the globe to perform on ECM’s stages! On November 30th, experience up-close encounter with the Daedalus Quartet, winners of the 2001 Banff International String Quartet Competition and Lincoln Center’s Martin E. Segal Award.

 

Hear Janácek’s Kreutzer Sonata alongside Beethoven’s “Kreutzer” arranged for String Quartet, alongside monumental tunes by Taneyev and Tchaikovsky.
