Shammas Ghouse

Shammas Ghouse is a Law student at Sri Lanka Law College, studying in his first year. He is a journalist fixer, translator and freelances as a journalist as well. He has worked with reputed media organizations such as British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), AlJazeera, National Public Radio (NPR, USA), Financial Times, The New York Times and Press TV. He's also a co-curator of "Everyday Sri Lanka", an Instagram account sharing pictures of everyday life in Sri Lanka. He also serves as the coordinator for Sri Lanka and Maldives for Thomson Foundation's "The South Asian Inquirer" workshop series and competition on investigative journalism.
