10th Anniversary Roots Benefit Concert

The 10th Anniversary Benefit Concert for the Roots Project located in Juba, South Sudan is headlined by the Yuval Ron Ensemble – https://yuvalronmusic.com/ .  Notable compositions include music for the Oscar-winning short film, West Bank Story.  Yuval is a world music composer, musician and peace activist.  The concert will include songs by the Seattle Jewish Chorale.   Selorm Tamakloe, a UW pre med student from Ghana will dance.  Anyieth D’Awol, founder of the Roots Project in 2009, will give a brief introduction and have short stories from the voices of the women of the Project.   100% of all ticket sales go to the project in Juba.
