Global Cafe: U.S. Policy in Syria

Jan 12, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Global Cafe is a new YPIN discussion series where participants get together to examine, analyze, and discuss solutions for some of the biggest global challenges of our day. In January, we will take a closer look at US policy in Syria. The devastating civil war in Syria has left the country in ruins and its future in doubt. What options does the US have moving forward and what are the implications of those options? Is there still room for American leadership on this issue? How will the Syrian conflict reshape US relationships in the region and beyond?

YPIN, non-YPIN members, and first-timers are all welcome. Before each event, some background materials on the topic will be added to the Facebook page. It’s helpful to read the articles before the discussion, but don’t worry if you haven’t. Part of the discussion is to help each other catch up on the facts.

Enjoy some of the best beer in town from our friends at Outlander Brewery!

This event is 21+. Please support our partnership with Outlander Brewery and Pub by enjoying food or a beverage.
