ProDev Seattle in partnership with YP Impact, YPOS, United Way of King County, Gvg17, Net Impact Seattle and Global Family Travels brings you Ikigai: Purpose, Passion and Social impact.

Ikigai is a Japanese concept that can be interpreted as “your purpose” or “your reason for being.” You’ll learn key tenets of this ancient philosophy to connect your passion for impact with an action plan. Collaborate with other social impact-minded professionals driving toward a stronger, more purpose-driven Seattle.

About the Host:

Sam Ushio is the founder of Ikigai Lab, a change management firm based in Seattle, WA. The firm empowers individuals and organizations to discover and implement IKIGAI. Ushio blends expertise in traditional management consulting + large-scale program design with ongoing research into the areas of performance psychology, human-centered design and experience-based learning. Inspired by a 100-year old family story of legacy, sacrifice, and triumph, Sam launched Ikigai Lab to lead purpose-driven transitions at the individual, professional, and enterprise-level.
