Lusio. A Night to Awaken is a free, family friendly, one night only festival of light and sound.

Explore 30 + light art installations of all shapes, sizes, and formats are curated directly into 18 acres of lush nature in Volunteer Park.

Enjoy kinetic video projections, analog light shows, delicate glowing textiles, giant kaleidoscopes, live sound performances, infinity mirrors, crystal caves, and so SO much more.

See if you can see it all in under 3 hours!

LIVE MUSIC EXHIBITS BY

*Modular Seattle
Modular Seattle will be creating a live, ambient, quad sound and immersive video art experience using modulars and synthesizers. Bring a blanket and go on a trip to outer space!

*Monster Planet
Amphitheater Opening Ceremonies
Monster Planet is an ever-expanding collective of producers, musicians, sound designers, visual artists, and B-movie enthusiasts improvising soundtracks to some of the most bizarre and cheesy B-movies in existence.
All artists work together to create a live surreal mix of cutting-edge ambient/experimental/drone music and obscure, low-budget cinema.

*21+ LUSIO DANCE GARDEN PARTY AT THE Volunteer Park Conservatory
Enjoy beer & wine in the beer garden + dj’s spinning house music inside the Historic Conservatory.
Space will be limited as capacity allows.

*This is a ticketed portion of Lusio to help raise fund for the supporting non-profit; The Friends of the Conservatory.

“How to experience Lusio?”


Lusio is fully interactive, family friendly, community driven event so participation is key!

Lusio is meant to enourage PLAY!

Wander and explore to find the art living under trees and in the gardens. Pick up a map at the lusio booth or use the online map at lusiolight.com to find all the exhibits.

Dress in your most glowing, LED, light up attire to get into the spirit and contribute to the whole atmosphere!
Wrap your dog in L-wire and let your kids wear all the sticks they can handle. Bring your LED hulu hoops to show off those hoopin skills.

Need some wearable light? Pick some up at the Lumio costume booth!


WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED


NO fires, fire spinning, vending, sound/speakers, or rude behaviors.

Pack it in, pack it out and/or use the trash receptacles provided.

NO RENEGADE ART PLEASE!!
A years worth of curation and planning go into every detail of Lusio including the location of each piece and ensuring the safety of our guests. Any unapproved art exhibits will be asked to be removed.
