Restorative Justice Practices

Jul 17, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

The  RET, EEC, and CIRCC have organized monthly Lunch and Learn on topics that disproportionately impact children and families of color. This month our topic is Restorative Justice Practices.

People of Color are disproportionately represented in low-wage jobs that do not provide any kind of benefits. They face many disadvantages, including disparities in family income, health care and access to equal rights that are often exacerbated and perpetuated by unhelpful legislation.

RET, EEC, and CIRCC are united in their goal to dismantle institutional and systemic racism in Washington State by educating and organizing around issues impacting families and children of color as well as the passage of equitable legislation.

Join us on July 17th, 2019 @ 12: oo pm – 1:30 pm for lunch and an informational conversation with experts in the work and community members.

This is a FREE event. RSVP at: https://eec-wa.org/event/restorative-justice-practices-lunch-and-learn/

Our Panelist:

  1. Noah Purcell – WA Solicitor General
  2. Rep. Noel Frame
