What are specific ways you have helped people of color and/or the immigrant community?
We should be working towards integrating instead of segregating.
What is the biggest legislative priority for communities of color and the immigrant community in the next few years? Do you think there are legislative concerns that are unique to these communities?
I do not see where immigrant communities are less or more in need of specific legislation. We are all Americans and any legislation presented in the future would affect us all.
What are specific ways that the office you seek would affect communities of color and the immigrant community, if you are elected?
In the 1st Legislative District there are many neighborhoods where the immigrant community is clustered into one area. Developers are building village living environments. I would like to see us live together in harmony and not feel we are living in culturally exclusive pockets.
