Join The Seattle Globalist for our second annual Globie Awards fundraiser. We’ll highlight our best writers and honor Seattle’s Globalist of the Year: a community member doing outstanding global work.

All proceeds benefit Seattle Globalist media makers and youth.

When: Sept. 27, 2014 at 6:30pm

Sa Choy's

The Dinner: Sam Choy’s Poke to the Max will be serving up their signature grilled meats, seafood, sides and dessert. Their Hawaiian-style comfort food from celebrity Chef Choy makes them one of the most in demand food trucks in Seattle.

Wash it down at the open bar (gasp!) with beer from Mac & Jack’s and wine from O Winery (provider of awesome college scholarships for low-income women.)

*Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free food options and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

Yogi Paliwal

The Host: Eastside native Yogi Paliwal has performed around the country at comedy clubs, theaters and festivals including the San Francisco and Seattle Sketch Fest, The Bridgetown Comedy Festival and at the NBC Standup for diversity Showcase in Seattle.
